Christmas dinner...on Christmas day

A huge “THANK YOU” also to all who were involved in the “Give Christmas Away” meal.  There were 28 people who shared dinner together; people from many different backgrounds, age groups and circumstances!  One of the many blessings on the day was the way in which all people contributed!

There was a real sense of unity as we all helped and encouraged one another.  The meal itself was brought together by the efforts of many people preparing vegetables, trifles, presents etc... it all came together into one big celebration, a real picture of the unity that we can have even in diversity when we are in Christ!  In the afternoon we sang Christmas carols accompanied by Sue Smith on her accordion.  Then we opened the gifts that the church had so generously given.  A real “family” Christmas!

Thank you to ALL who prayed, prepared, gave, organised, joined in, cooked and cleared away!
