CityKids

We've had an encouraging term at City Kids with numbers reaching up to 40 on some weeks. This has brought added pressures to the ministry but we thank the Lord for those helpers currently involved on a weekly basis and those that give up there time to drive the minibus for the kids coming from further away. Please continure to pray for additional helpers, whether that be 'up the front' or 'behind the scenes', may be you or someone you know could get involved?

Last term we teaching through the book of Acts, which brought with it many challenges, both in the teaching, and in the application, especially to those kids who are christians and seeking to live a life for Jesus. Continue to pray that the children would not just be taking things on as head knowledge, but the the Holy Spirit would be challenging their hearts and attititudes.  In the last week of term the City Kids team also had a great opportunity to demonstrate God's love by delivering Christmas food hampers to the families of those that attended City Kids. Many thanks to the growth groups and others involved for putting these together and making this possible. We hope that this is a further step in building up relationships with these families.

Back to basics, looking at the Big picture

Please pray for the coming term as we seek to go 'back to basics', looking at the Big picture of 'Creation to Christ'. Please also pray for the preperations for the Easter Bible Club as before we know it, it will soon be upon us.
