Up close and personal

Dave and Ivy work in the Far East. They were both students in Leeds and Ivy was baptised at City.

They are moving to a new city at the end of February. Ivy's parents live there already and they hope to be based in the area for a while. They are currently praying about the local church and where to become involved. They also need to find a place to live.

Dave will be setting up a new office for his firm which will be producing parts for car exhausts. Ivy as a journalist has choices to make about new work. Both give support to other students returning from the UK.

Missionary Sunday

Missionary Sunday is fast approaching: February 21st

Plans are still being made. We are expecting visitors from several missionary societies; all are invited to stay for lunch to allow time to look round the exhibitions.

A children's programme will be held in the morning and the afternoon.

Please pray for Ruth who is organising the day and also that it will encourage us to be more enthusiastic about mission whether we are called to go or asked to stay and pray.
